Love from the Soul

The nights here are cold,
I long for your warm embrace.
Hear your sweet whisper in my ear,
To remind me that I'm safe.

When I find myself alone,
I'll look up at the sky, pick a star.
One almost as beautiful as you,
Then pray you'll never be too far.

I feel so empty when you're gone,
I count the minutes we're apart.
Then the cycle starts all over again,
Whenever we finally decide to depart.

You're my soul mate, I know it,
We were made just for each other.
I want us to experience everything together,
And someday be your future children's mother.

Every time I see your amazing smile,
There's a little sparkle in your eyes.
I can't believe that after all this time,
You still manage to give me butterflies.

We might be separated now,
Miles and miles apart.
But, I will promise you this,
You are the keeper of my heart.

I love you more than anything,
My entire heart, my true love.
Truly the best thing in my life,
Wonderful angel sent from above.

Never leave my side, darling,
I need you when sky's are grey.
Protecting me from all harm,
And keep the nightmares at bay.

So now I am offering you a love,
One so pure and from the soul.
I hope you will accept it and hold on,
Finally making this broken heart whole.
