Deception!!

You promised your love to me,
Even though every day we are separate from one another,
So I sit alone every night upon a hill beside the moon..

Wishing you were beside me right at this very moment,
Wondering what you are doing this very night,
So I sit glaring upon the moon..

You lay upon the sweet green grass underneath the mystic moon,
Yet you are not alone,
You lay upon the grass with the company of another boy..

An innocent boy who does not know the truth,
He thinks the world of you,
Just like me..

Every night,
Every time I stare upon the moon,
Every time I am alone..

I see the reflection of her,
I see the reflection of the boy,
I see the reflection of them both..

You seem to think you can keep it secret,
Yet your mind was to calm,
I saw you and the truth is out!

Out of my sight you take advantage of my mind poisoned by your love,
All I know now is that every word you say is just a lie,
A lie that I am weak enough to believe..

But now I am stronger,
You have truly left a scar upon my bleeding heart,
And now your lies shall forever fade away within my broken heart!
