Thou Soul

You were the one who used to put that smile upon my face,
You were the one who used to make my life worth living,
You were the one I loved..

Yet you have lost your love for me,
All for the reason of having no reason..

I am all alone..
I am giving up..
I am running out of time..

My restless heart is in agony,
I feel alike man without a shadow,
Alike a man with a heart that screams from inside..

I shed a thousand tears drowned in blood in a sacrifice for your return..
Yet you do not return and my body grows weak,
My eyesight becomes blurred..

Collapsing into the pool of blood shed tears,
My body becomes paralyzed,
The lights turn to black..

Taking my last breath,
I repeat my last words..

Do not pray for thou soul,
For thou soul is free..

And only my soulless body shall remain.

    There is no need for the punctuation. and when you say alike that is not proper grammar. I think you mean like and in that case you should never use like in a poem rather use as.

    You had emotion, you just did not put it together well. Not deserving of the front page but you get an e for effort.
