Thinking about the past

Thinking about the past
you remember good times
when there was a ton of laughter
and bed time story rhymes

years later down the road
that past has changed
you old enough to get up
and make sure your room is rearranged

years more down the road
the world is no longer small like a twig
you feel the love for others
is becoming more big

your graduating high school now
your seeing the world go by fast
so take some time to stop
and think about the past

    i think those lines are great

    one suggestion: "when there was lots of laughter"

    "was" in singular" and "lots" is plural, so if you just match them both it would sound better
