Stupid Mistakes

I won't be typical.
I won't scream and say
you tore my heart out.

I gave it to you,
which was stupid,
you just never gave it back.

I guess I should be worried
about the empty hole in my chest
but it's my fault.

I trusted you too easily.
But the sad thing is,
if given the chance...

I'd do it all again the same.
