Two Hearts That Once Danced Together.

Two hearts.
One belonged to a boy, the other to a girl.
The two loved eachother for what seemed like a very long time,
And then their relationship came to a sudden halt.
The two came to realize, they weren't meant to be together.
There was no real connection,
It was all just fun and games,
And there was no real love connection between the two of them.
The two started to drift away from one another, and eventually never spoke to one another again.
Their two hearts split apart, and never would be one ever again.

Two years passed by, and they both realized sometimes things just don't work out.
Sometimes two hearts can't dance to the same beat.
Meaning, they were never meant for one another.

    Beautifully written. but I felt like you could have added more to it. but this poem dent a chill down my spine. it was wayy incredible. I really could find nothin wrong with it at all.you have always been an incredible write =)

    This was interesting. It was a well written poem, with a saddening theme throughout. I felt, at some parts, that I was reading a story. I feel the message could have been expressed in a more poetic fashion. Sometimes it kind of felt like:

    "This happened,
    This happened,
    This happened,
    The end."

    Like there was no real story, no imagery, no art within it.

    Please don't feel like I'm badgering your poem, haha. That isn't my intention at all. I just feel there could have been more information expression, or even just developing the information which is already there.

    However, I do have to say that I adore the title, and the whole idea of two hearts "dancing" together. That is beautiful.

    Ooo this was pretty. All I could think about was a couple dancing to a song, and then when the song was over, they stopped dancing. Beautifully written. Five out of five.
