One sided Love

Oh how I miss those lips
and every time we kissed
I could never truly resist
to wrap my arms around those hips

I wished it would never end
at night i sometimes cry
I cant believe your not here, to wipe the tear from my eye
my broken heart will never mend

Please help me god, I need you now
I'm on my knees, my life is in your hands
This pain i feel, no one understands
hopefully it will end, some day some how

It felt like to soon to end, i kinda knew
but please take this to heart
my heart for you, it came apart
I kept one half, the other is for you

now forever you can see
my thundering love for you
never silenced but only grew
look closely my love then you too would agree

And the day i die
far far above
ill paint a heart, to express our love
only if you ever bothered to look to the sky

    Wow !! this is really nice. You've done a great job with this poem and with the rhyming and usage of words.
    I loved the last part , its so sad yet so sweet.

    I'm pretty much addicted to how sweet your poems are, my dear...maybe because i can pretend for a minute...no. anyway. this was very sweet and simple. i really enjoyed the rhyming scheme as it was unobtrusive and just helped the poem along rather than dominating it.
