Lost Twinkle

I never really thought tears were my color
I've never looked good in shades of blue
But since you left I have streams running down my cheeks
All because I can't stop thinking of you

It's funny though I'll tell you this
When I call I hear pain in your voice
And then you hang up before I can tell
But you did know this was your own choice

I look at the ring on my finger
It sparkles as off my cheek another tear falls
I hear our song come on the radio
And fall in pain as it echo's thru the empty halls

I never saw this coming or happening to us
We were perfect, so flawless it seemed
But then you told me it's over
And broken became my fairytale dream

So I will try to go on and live just one more day
Push my self thru every aching hour with out you
I'll take and put away this ring I once wore
As my finger lays empty wondering what to do
