To My Friend "Misery"

Why are you here?
I didn't invite you in,
I sit in absolute fear,
In my ears, a sorrowful violin.

Why wont you leave?
Go back into the shadows,
But into my soul you weave,
The bruise you gave, has turned yellow.

I hate the way,
You get me so down and low,
Your company, like a tourniquet,
Accustom now, please stay.

You no longer,
Have to hold me down,
Together we are stronger,
No one here, with out you around.

I then drank with you ,
As low as each other,
In the darkness, together we queue,
With other lost souls, we drift further.

Here I am still,
You left a long time ago,
Your gone so I guess, here I will,
be alone to fight this rain and snow.
