Ur True Man

Ur true Man

Do you know your true man?
I bet you have been dreaming,
You have been walking in the shadow of lost-
All alone,
Blindfolded by his makeup
Oh, I see,
I can see your heart swelling with laughter,
Preparing to slip into the belly
Of a miserable wedding night.
He often buy you rose flowers,
Bite your lips with the best kiss,
Takes you to glittering parties
But, do you know your true man?
Your true man is out there,
He is right beside you
Maybe he is shy or afraid of your rudeness
Just to tell you his ugliness ends the day he found you
Your true man maybe that daily laborer,
With no bread to eat and pay day many days ahead,
Your true man can be that pastor on the pulpit,
Preaching to see charge have its place in your life,
Your man can be that future president,
Sleeping in the street, no umbrella to call his home
Your true man maybe that dude you met at the barbershop
He can be that young poet from Baghdad
Your true man can be that young soldier
At the battle front whose love you have reject,
He can be that jobless chef with the magic cooking hands
He can be that waiter that gave you the warmest smile at the Inn
Your true man maybe him you hated so much without no reason
He can be that lovely African you just ignored the other day,
He can be the one crushed by car, which you refused to offer a hand.
Who is your true man, my dear?
How simple was his first words to you on the first day,
How tender was the color of his eyes?
Your true man can die for you,
Just the way Mandela was ready to die for his country,
Your man could come from anywhere,
He will never break your heart,
He is for ever.
I beg you take a break, my dear
Because you need a true hug from your man,
Relax your mind, open your heart,
And perceive the smell of nature
For your true man has just whispered your name,
While passing behind you.
