His Pain

by SilentRebuke   Jun 28, 2008

Do you know how he hurts, how he sobbed in my arms?

I had to sit and watch as his heart was broken in pieces.

Seeing his soul bared for all to see certainly disarmed,

And I'm left hoping that this tearing pain soon ceases.

If he can't help this wound heal, if he doesn't move on,

Don't know what I will do, don't know what to feel

But if he can't come out, and stays this withdrawn

I don't think my anger will continue to be concealed.

You made your decision, and thats your own choice

But the effects ripple outward to corrupt those you know.

And if his hurt doesn't fade away, I won't silence my voice

I will let loose, and let the full force of my hatred show.

The last time I saw you, I couldn't say goodbye

I can't stand by and watch as you throw it all away,

As you give Jehovah and Satan the wrong reply.

After everything they've given you, this is how you repay?

*A/n This poem isn't exactly finished, but currently the subject is still to raw, too painful for me to continue work on it. I will post it as is, until I can finish it, if I ever can. Sorry if this one is a little hard to understand, but it is a heartfelt expression of a very personal experiance.

I won't rate this poem yet as as you said it is a first copy, edit it and repost and I will keep an eye open to look for the changes, watch your tenses don't overlap or it people will get lost when reading it. Look forward to the finished product, Ray

Such is the gift... it's all right for one poem to not be completely finished as you wish it to be, for it is beautiful and expressive the way it is. And I do wish you feel better, for whatever cause it is that made you feel this way. :)
This is a very splendid poem, albeit sad but it is still splendid in every verse, word and syllable.
    Thank you for posting! :)
