Angel {Contest}

He says she's an angel,
but nobody ever sees.
No one gives her the time of day,
to show them what she can be.

She says he's an angel,
but nobody knows who he is.
No one really cares,
about the achievements of his.

They're both angels,
lost together in this life.
They're inspiration for each other,
to put down the knife.

He says she's his angel,
the one for all time.
She'll be there for him,
until the end of the line.

She says he's her angel,
the one she can't be without.
He's loved her from the beginning,
there was never any doubt.

They're both angels,
lost together in this life.
They're inspiration for each other,
to put down the knife.

He says she's the angel,
that's he's opened up his heart for.
She looked into his eyes,
and walked in the door.

She says he's the angel,
who'll rid her of her fears.
He's the only one,
who's ever wiped away the tears.

    I don't see the need for the repeated stanza:

    "They're both angels,
    lost together in this life.
    They're inspiration for each other,
    to put down the knife."

    It through of the flow of the poem and was honestly, slightly annoying.It would have been perfect used only once at the end.

    But,this poem was really sweet and showed the strong determination of love.

    Awesome poem, great flow, structure and rhyme. i read it as two people to support eachother and help eachother out of the bad parts of life. seems they are eachothers guardian angels.

    This poem was amazing. =] no matter what you do in life you'll find or be these angels no matter what and help people out. I really liked this poem alot, how each of them express why they think eachother are angels it was wonderful.

    "He says she's an angel...."

    "She says he's an angel...."

    -Wow, excellent attention getter. This had my attention from the start.. I loved how you started with these lines as your first line for the 1st and 2nd stanzas. Brilliant!

    Ooh, then you go on and say "They're both angels..." That's a really neat twist. I realize you continue this pattern throughout the remainder of the poem. Excellent idea.

    -This stanza was wonderfully written, and I love how it was repeated in the poem. That was probably the best stanza that could have been repeated. Perfect.

    All in all, a very good poem. It's so beautiful and I love how you explain that they are both eachother's angels.. That is beautiful and very adorable. Wonderful write. I wish you luck with your contest! :) 5/5
