Wallowing Alone

by Perfectly Broken   Jul 1, 2008

She wallows in the dark; by herself, all alone
She takes in this pain, with certainties unknown
Her tears soak up the pillows, and her cries are unheard
She keeps to herself, and says not a word

She scared of the pain, and her feelings suppressed
She puts on a smile; she puts on her best
This taciturn girl, she's dying inside
She feels so alone, and her feelings she hides

She lets down her guard, and falls for them boys
And what they all overlook; it's her they destroy
The second she stares - into their sultry like eyes
She falls in so deeply, and this trait she despised

She cries every night, till she reaches some sleep
She feels her heart beat, as she lets the pain seep
Alone in a corner, she wallows in despair
Aware of the fact, that [no one] will ever care..

.i started this piece in january and i just found it last night and finished it. tell me what you think?
