Beaten and Hopeless

In my heart I fight for good
So why am I misunderstood
Pain linked so deeply to desire
Extinguishing the deadly fire
End results will be dire

Dogs of war
Drug to the ground
Beaten like a dirty hound
Answers that will not be found

The questions slash
Opens up my flesh
Agony and thought will mesh
An old wound appears so fresh

As I cut my fear has fled
Crimson droplets will be bled
I watch them fall and hit the bed
The past is rushing through my head
This pain somehow, must be shed

I reawaken in my shell
The torment finds it's way so well
Soon I'll be cast back to hell
Under Satan's frightful spell

The razor cleanses everything
Sharp and crisp, I feel the sting
As it trickles I feel warm
I brave the blade, and fear the storm

    This is a deep poem. You did an awesome job.

    I liked:

    I know how it feels to bleed out the pain... An awesome poem though... keep it up..
