Subtle Emotions

If the past and present would intertwine,
If the world would crash down
Would anyone be there just in time
Just to keep me safe from harm?

Starless nights with frightful dreams
Chained, caged with deafening screams
Wondering, looking, waiting for anyone
To stop the pain that lingers my mind.

Distorted paths, twisted heart,
Hurtful words that break me apart
I am lost with no where to go.
The right way to walk on, I do not know.

Searing wounds, croaking voice
Ripped, shattered spirit and soul
Fate has always been so unfair,
I am alone but nobody cares.

Hailing silence, dimming light
One by one, perishing from my sight
Wait! What is really happening?
My life is becoming darker than it seems.

Drenched with tears, haunted by fears
My days are in doom, never been clear.
Oh! Such a mournful, lifeless scene
Someone, change the way it has always been.

Streaming tears don't seem to cease.
Everything is no longer at ease.
Look how broken I have become,
I don't even know how to smile.
