Darkness

by Paul London   Jul 25, 2008

Darkness, Stillness, black and forever
The vile, sour earth, eating it's fill of flesh.

A decision made, with no considerations
Did it hurt? Was it Painful?
You took the easy path

When you got tired of life being hard,
You caused more pain than you felt.

Eternal damnation without salvation.
Hearts were broken, time won't heal.
This wound is deep. No consideration.

A beautiful boy, so full of promise.
A sad ending, so many bleak day's.
Thoughts of you and all of the what ifs
and all of the what could have been's.

Fourteen years, a life short lived,
Too many questions and not a single answer.
If only to talk to you once more,
A joy it would have been
But you closed that door.

Darkness, stillness, black and forever
You made your choice.
You left us no voice.
Rest easy young one,
May the light find you.
