Crescent Demon

Crescent moon out tonight
Darkened faces follow around it
Haunting its glow of light
Seizing its power into doom

The moon did nothing wrong
But still there are the faces that mock it
Still sucking out it's desire
To shine so we can see

Taken over by the power of evilness
It has now become a demon
A demon who prows among us all
Who takes our light away

They taunted the moon
Their job is done
It's never going back to shine light upon us
It deceives any glow in sight

Here we go into the darkness
All so Innocent
But all guilty in form
For all we know is gloom

Cry your eyes out
No one cares
Dry your tears and be strong
They will hurt you more if you don't

Here I go
Following them
I'm looking from the outside
Into where all those happy people stand

I have fallen into their power
They have taken over me
That one lonely moon
Is shining once again

Because it has sucked the life out of me...
