The beauty of a dying star

by DarkCrystalbtrfy   Jul 31, 2008

The beauty of a dying star
To hear a scream but be too far
To see one's life above your own
To feel the need to be alone.
The blood that drips beneath the moon
A tear that leaves the eye too soon
A bloodied hand upon a heart
Its beauty matching a perfect start
The life that's gone from one so young
The star it fades much like a song
The star that burned a day ago
Is dying and has lost its glow
Though nameless it is upon a look
I walk around and find your book.
I turn and leave with book on back
And know that soon i will be back
To rest with love within my mind
And watch our hearts as they unwind
