Vengeance of Fire

by Nix   Aug 4, 2008

Sound unscrews spine of the universe.

I ran after her while she was crying
but moonlight was a trap for venery.

And I whispered: Stop!
-while nightly sky leaked and excreted shooting stars.-

Count!
Count ravens on asleep skull,
all spent minutes and oaths,
and give up.

She turned around.
She had a face of the wax,
but, oh,
so wizen was her figure,
and her face expression was the last witness
of pain which someone carved, ferociously.

I recognize product of my own hands,
and in disbelief I mutely scream denials;
sound unscrews spine of the universe.

Certainly it's very captivating. Well constructed lines. Good use of words. Very well penned.

This was deeply dark, and beautiful.

"I ran after her while she was crying
but moonlight was a trap for venery."

Those lines are my favourite. Don't know why ... they're just so ... rich, and powerful.
    Very nice job, Dark Spirit.
