You're So Pretty

by AmberSherrellxxIve Been Sitting Here Trying To Find Myselfxx   Aug 20, 2008

You're so pretty when you cry,
Tears glistening in your brown eyes.
It's like ecstasy to watch you die,
When you find truth in all the lies.

You're so pretty when you bleed,
Covering your cuts up with long sleeves.
You wear a smile to make them believe,
But nothing is what it ever seems to be.

You're so pretty when you die,
Finally closing those sorrowful eyes.
You write your note and say goodbye,
Discovering love's final suicide.

You're so pretty in your burial chest,
Showing the scars that you know best.
Slowly falling into perpetual rest,
Flunking this life's brutal test.

You're so pale and your skin is cold.
Suicide was what everyone was told.
You were only sixteen years old.
But, you're so pretty.
