Take All Of Me Away

by gracey grey   Aug 22, 2008

Take me away to a place
where no milestone stands
to a place where cherubs
are cocooned no more

Grace an abode of manifold laughter
whence petals never fall
amongst the enticing rivers
towards the silver lining

Onward to majestic valley
away from the maddening crowd
where breeze hums lullabies
air fresh as the morning sun

Take all of me away
between the brightest of light
into the night to be at peace
just let me be at peace

I though the poem was beautiful all the way through, the imagery was really outstanding,It held a serene mood that was superb,Only one thought hit me as far as help would go ,the ending line repeated the word "peace"I wondered if maybe the last word could have been "ease"just a thought but this poem was excellent.

Grace an abode of manifold laughter

I think that that was the best line.
I feel that the poem could have been longer, and had more metaphors or personification, but you have a good general idea.
