The world has no desire

by Steven Topaz   Sep 16, 2008

The world has no desire.
It's all about makeup and attire.
The world has no intention.
To much damn drama to mention.

Indecision.
Pain and lies fogging my vision.
Insecurity.
Causes to much uncertainty.

The world has no desire.
To better the world prior.
Then what can one child do.
To make sure that his one love is true.

Unforgetting.
Never ending.
Undeniable.
The world self liable.

The world has No sanity.
Fighting them all.
And its still only me.
The world watches as I fall.

Mending.
Let the world stop ending.
Defending.
Fighting.Never dying.

If the world has no desire.
Then where does that leave me.
Fighting the inhumane.
So why can't the world see

Bleeding.
They keep watching.
Misery.
They laugh at me.

The world has no desire.
To make this life better.
Asking our savior that maybe one day,
We Wont have to pray.
And live in peace forever.

i agree, this was an interesting concept. i could see this becoming a very deep rap song LOL (that i'd actually like, i hate most rap) but because the rhyming was great, the writing was emotional, somewhat rebellious and overall you made a really great point.

Oh this was a cool concept. You do make a good point. I like the flow and rhyming. It was litle bit more jumpy than the other ones Ive seen by you but its still always on topic so its not a problem at all.

    Take care XD

This is my favorite of all of your poems : )
it's shows that you really care and spend time thinking about the state of the world around you. Very good thing. The flow was also wonderful and the refrain of the line "the world has no desire" added a nice touch. Great piece : )
