A Beautiful White Rose [Sestina]

I fell in love with a single white rose,
She's not a red one or a pink one,
A plain white that does not stand out,
Still she's managed to catch my attention,
So slowly, gently, and with a soft touch,
I've picked up this beautiful girl,

Such an amazing and kind-hearted girl,
Equal to that of the beauty of a rose,
Caring and so sensitive to my touch,
She has to be my one and only one,
Trapped and giving her all my attention,
And I have no intentions of bailing out,

Perspectives would say we're going out,
Whispers of the beauty of this amazing girl,
I never thought I would catch her attention,
Too tenacious like the smell of a rose,
Yet she has become my hearts only one,
A topic I will never allow us to touch,

But why do I shiver when I feel her touch?
All of my hearts feelings come rushing out,
How could she possibly be my only one?
A smart, funny, kind, and loving girl,
Is there a penalty for me picking this rose?
The risk of losing more than just her attention,

But I don't want to ever lose her attention,
Having her hold me with the softest touch,
Smelling her scent as intoxicating as a rose,
Lending my shoulder when her tears come out,
Staring at her as though she's the only girl,
Because I pray she will forever be my only one,

I will let my heart follow only this one,
Caring for her heart with sincere attention,
She still has the soul of a loving girl,
Lost inside a soft yet caring touch,
So forbid my mind from ever blacking out,
As you shine the beauty of a white rose,

Please let this girl choose me as her only one,
Using the disguise of a rose to hold my attention,
Just one soft touch - my heart has no way out...
