Eternal sleep

by kevin Boundy AKA the ghost   Oct 4, 2008

You filled my life with grief
And agonizing pain
So I grab this knife and start to cut
Deep into my vein

As I cut deeper with every slice
i can feel my frustration leave
You will see that I am serious
And this is not make believe

My emotions run so dry
I can feel my heart rate begin to drop
But once I start cutting myself
Temptation makes it hard to stop

I am beginning to feel lifeless
As my body is becoming weak
I try to scream out for help
But it is so difficult to speak

my skin is turning pale
And my body's beginning to shiver
The blood keeps flowing from my wrist
like a raging crimson river

I close my eyes
Simply not to weep
I close my eyes and wait
For my eternal sleep
