Lost princess

Each day that passes by
life brings me closer to death
and am getting older all the time

am getting more & more lonely
without her by my side
am just another hollow man with an empty life

my heart's became lighter than ever
without her presence, a restless feather
facing the storming weather

standing in the middle of nowhere
feeling like am at the end
of a road which doesn't even have a beginning

wishing somehow if i could be
her knight in shining armor
rescue her & wait for her to rescue me back

but she's kept captive
in a tower so high
far beyond my reach

on a castle built up so high
high on the top of my feelings
a forbidden fortress

my head's the keeper
my mind's the guard
if my heart ever approaches

deadly be their arrows
dead be my heart
so it sits watching from a distance

so helpless and calm
what illness have it come to
weeping over the loss of a princess

    It is another marvelous piece. I truely loved it.you used your wide imaginary to describe the feelings that are kept inside you.And I can see how much the feelings they are sad,but Insha'allah everything is going to be better soon.

    First let me criticize some small things :

    am getting more & more lonely
    without her by my side
    am just another hollow man with an empty life

    If you wanna use abbreviations categorize it in the "slang poems", So just change the "am" to "I'm" and the "&" to "and"

    my heart's became lighter than ever
    let me correct this. "my heart's becOme"

    Soo, other than those, it was touchy =]]
    You know how much I admire unrhymed poems for their beauty :)

    Your words really have alot of meaning
    I love fairytale stories so I enjoyed reading this alot. The fact that you made it so sad and full of emotion was great! The sad ending gives your writing alot of effect.
