My heart is bleeding tears

by Ingrid   Oct 26, 2008

My heart is bleeding crimson tears
Ripped out from my chest, left to decay
Since you left and said goodbye
just can 't seem to make it through the day

My safe haven, where we used to meet
is a deserted sanctuary nowadays
I can 't bear to go there all alone
and be reminded of you in so many ways

My heart is bleeding crimson tears
I fail to understand how an adult male like you
can allow a third party to come in between
slander my name and tell you what to do

In the mirror I see a shadow, a strange reflection,
a hollow version of the woman I used to be
Thin, pale, tired and bewildered
You were my angel, no other man will do for me
