Jagged Personality

by Lady Nik   Nov 9, 2008

Fighting the fury
Flowing ferociously in my blood.
Washed down with anger
Doused with unanticipated love.
Looking through pieces of crushed glass.
Holding them tightly
For the blood makes me laugh.
The whispers are piercing.
Something vital is missing.
Fixed to the window
Watching as they live their lives.
Rocking back and forth
Trying to hush my cries.
Give me my pills
And pray they work.
Arms stretched out
But I'm out of touch.
Speak to me
I beg you voice.
You're my only friend tonight
My only choice.
I'm here for you
She screams over and over again.
I'm no longer alone,
Waiting for insanity to mend.
Biting down bashfully on my bruised lip
I'm afraid I might slip.
On the blood I've wasted on the ground beneath.
I'm so sorry
But no one would believe.
Why would they?
