5 Minutes and a Piece of Paper

by Faithless Watermelon   Nov 11, 2008

I don't like being expected to react the right way.
The right way bothers me.
I always wonder, what is human?
The lights become violent when they do not match my own.

Erratic heartbeat
Freezing hands
Foreign lands
Shifting sands

It only rains when you're alone
You never hear it when someone is near
This is my one love, my only fear
If not for you my dear

Rain on the ground is only water.
Is it really the work of god?
Isn't every question just a timid demand?

It is the tenth of November. Have you ever thought about how many more tenths of November there will be, and then realize that this tenth really means nothing?

What of tomorrow?
Could you really tell me?
I could make you a liar by the end of tomorrow.

This is cool. It is creative and slightly random. I like it as it is, despite the fact some pieces may not fit in the entire puzzle, that just makes it even cooler. Anyway awesome job from me.

  • I like the way you didn't hold back on this piece...
and as always i love the way you think...

    "Erratic heartbeat
    Freezing hands
    Foreign lands
    Shifting sands"
    >>>i don't think this part connects with the whole poem...i really like the meaning and every thing but the poem can flow a lot better without it.. anyway other than that i give you a 5/5 keep it up!
