Carried upon a breeze (collab)

Carried upon a breeze
his soft voice came to me.
Leave the love behind now
that was not meant to be.

His soothing words caressed
with the lightest of touch.
Dampening flames of fear,
which had burned so much.

Arms held me so tightly
and staining tears ran free.
I welcomed his embrace,
then was able to see.

All the demons revealed,
their masks no longer cloaked
The darkness within them,
The deception that choked

Beside me he remained
and my trust again grew,
I felt revitalized,
my heart beating anew.

His soft voice a whisper
Carried upon a breeze,
I love you my darling,
the soul-mate of my dreams.

    I loved this one Ingrid :)
    it was a good collab between both of you.
    I never knew Mr Darcy is that good :]
    actually this was like a one piece for one person..it felt soo good reading it without having to say "both don't make sense together"
    it was a great read !

    it appears we have a 'love triagle' going on here!! Pistols at dawn I fear!!

    This poem flowed as easily as a stream does to the sea, always flowing and always destined to join the sea.
