A Protest to Society

by DarkCrystalbtrfy   Nov 17, 2008

Here I am,
I raise my head up high
While you all look down and sigh
As the time here passes by
Swirling thoughts here abide
By the rules of society
Putting words into your head
But they, themselves, not caring
What is said
Formating what they think by abuse
That consequently is a trial in this life
By those who are left behind
The ones who are outside of it all
Are the ones who seem to crawl
Along the rode of undying strif
Chasing us slyly along in this life
So what do we do but to conform
They'll bend your will
As they have bent ours
Broken and bruised on the floor we'll lie
Subjugated to unwavering lies
We can hear there whisper
But they don't hear our screams
Hands over our ears
It penetrates withen sneaking through our fingers
Weaving along its way
Anger visibly haunts us
It comes here everyday
When night comes it slowely burns away
So this is for all of you
Who feel the exact same way that I do
So don't look down and sigh
Instead raise your head up high
