Across a Sea of Memory

by DarkCrystalbtrfy   Nov 17, 2008

Pen and paper; it calls to me
Across a sea of memory
A vast chasm where the story lies inside me
Memory may fade, but yet it will still lurk
To shadows forgotten,
Behind locked doors
That have no keys
And twisted bolts
That are rusted with age
Dust that gathers on them
Like a heavy blanket
Letting no sound through
Cobwebs that hang
In the shadows
And beyond that
Whispered voices that are suddenly hushed
For knowing the tale
Of which I might write down
So let pen and paper call to me
Across a sea of memory
