Remember the Lusitania!

by DarkCrystalbtrfy   Nov 27, 2008

Echos of the past can be heard
Amid the oceans perilous waves
Dying cries of another age
Ringing out from the lookouts nest
Voices clear with painc and rage
Heads turn but its too late
One explosion
A plume of derbs
Water rising
A crash can be heard
Second explosion
Tilting to the side
Abondon ship
Not enough time
Water spilling in all doubts earased
That this glorious ship would see another day
Lifeboats lowered into the sea
But these lifeboats were not ment to be
Because when they kissed the water deep
They overturned into the waves, sighing sleep
1,198 dead, so trust me when I say
Remember the Lusitania to this day!
