Clouds ( Huitain)

by Ingrid   Dec 7, 2008

Lying on my back in the sun
Warm breeze blowing, grass smells so sweet
Watching the clouds is always fun
Shapes and faces, silly but neat
A great pass time during the heat
My mind taking me everywhere
I have all I will ever need
From this abundance I will share

HUITAIN

A Huitain has 8 lines.
Each line has 8 syllables only.

What a lovely poem Ingrid, your words reminding us all that all we need for total happiness can be found all around us, if only so many souls the world over, would understand this.
Your words hopefully will be heeded by those who strive instead for a greedy and unhappy, unkind world.
