Cosmo Says

Cosmo says
the best way to reclaim your dew
is by airbrush
and toxins

I wonder...

as my soiled palms
riffle through the pages
like a teenager
naive enough
to swallow
this fruitless epistle

injections
blanching out
all mementos
of senility
seems self-effacing

but what cosmo says
bellies true
to my own insecurities

what an ugly page to be
