Never Pleased...(my mom)

by Savana Santos   Dec 25, 2008

Every single day,
i see that your breaking.

every single smile,
i see that your faking.

not knowing what to do.

watching you feel this way
your never really pleased
no matter what i say.

"i love you" means nothing,
you shove it back in my face,
saying its a lie,
and that you want out of this place.

Misery and sadness is all you feel,
you cry every day.

The pain is just to real.

Pray to God,
So he'll take you away,
your never pleased,
and we're the ones that have to pay.

seeing you sad,
seeing you cry
seeing you hurt,
and wanting to die.

i'm never up to your standards,
I can't do anything right,
i try to figure out what i'm doing wrong,
maybe its because we always fight.

i love you to death,
but you just make me so mad,
never being pleased,
taking it all out on dad.

you scream and yell at me,
tell me i'm hurting you,
But i am who i am,
what more can i do?

im trying my best....
i'm doing all i can do,
trying to be better,
just to please you.

but yet you feel forgotten,
when your always on my mind.

You're looking for love,
but its one thing you can't find.

your not looking in the right places,
because its surely there.

Look in my heart,
and you'll see i really do care.

I always want to please you.

and make it so you smile,
but i just can't do it right,
i've been trying for a while.

"i love you" means nothing,
you shove it back in my face,
saying its a lie,
and that you want out of this place.

I love you mama,
always have always will.

but i guess no matter how many times i say that,
you'll never have your fill.

i'll keep trying to prove my love,
and maybe you'll accept me,
but until then,
i guess 'selfish' is all i'll be.

the girl whos on the computer,
who doesn't give a care,
the girl who does nothing,
just sort of sits there.

i'm sorry for this poem,
i'm just sort of upset,
I really do love you,
you just don't see it yet.

(this poem is for my mom, if you know me, you know whats up, and if you know me and you dont know...sorry...but yeah)
