You were the death of me...

by Bittersweet Sundown   Jan 13, 2009

We had everything going for us,
Everything seemed just right.
Then you left me here all alone,
Confused and contrite.

Thinking that you still loved me,
Making me believe in you,
Not knowing there was another girl,
That you were messing around with too.

As soon as I found about you and her,
I was enraged with anger.
I thought "maybe I'll go out tonight,
And make out with a stranger."

I feel as if I was living a lie,
But now you're crawling back.
"Baby I'm sorry, I still love you,"
But my trust for you is what I lack.

I don't believe in a word you say anymore,
I never know what's true.
As much as I wanna believe what you say,
I can't seem to bring myself to trust you.

One of these days when I'm gone,
You'll look for me and say we're meant to be,
But by that time you would find out,
That baby, you were the death of me...

    Really nice its is.
    but there is one thing I would consider changing ;
As soon as I found about you and her,
    I was enraged with anger.
I thought "maybe I'll go out tonight,
And make out with a stranger."

    it didn't really flow
