Lips of an angel

by kevin Boundy AKA the ghost   Jan 24, 2009

Your killing me involuntarily
You don't even have a clue
Since you came back in my life
I wish my girlfriend was more like you

My girl loves me
And it hurts me to know
That whenever I'm with you
Your face is all aglow

I talk to you on the phone
For two hours straight
By the time we finish I can't call my love
because it's too late

I can't control myself
Whenever you are near
With you in my life
My feelings are so unclear

Why is this happening to me
Signs keep appearing
I know what my heart wants
But my mind keeps interfering

Every step is a mission
Pain sears through my shoulder
With this burden I must carry
God seems so much colder

So I guess this is the end
When I look at her my soul screams
Your lips are those of an angels
And they will always haunt my dreams
