A writers desktop

A writers desktop is full of tears
Papers are built up over the years
They tell of memories that last
But they tell of ones that were judged and passed
These memories give way to light
Through the darkest and deepest times
They come to haunt you in your sleep
Trying to make sense out of meaningless things
So one by one these teardrops fell
Over the years that seemed so long
And at the time these tears were measured
Not by strength or fear or lack of pleasure
But by the judgmental side
Of society in all its right
These tears you have to face
Each day that passes by
Remembering is the key to life
All the happiness included in all the strife
The faithlessness along with the knife
That tries and tries to seperate your hope
So now this runs deep in your veins
But try your best to push it away
And each day that passes by you shouldent give a sigh
But printed words on a page
Help relieve all the greif and pain
Solace knocks on your door and
Says to continue writing evermore
For when you write a page is read
A page that is part of whats in your head
What your feeling, thinking, surevying instead
Goes down on written page instead
And did you know a writers desktop is full of tears
And papers are built up over the years?
