No More Waiting

by iFallToPieces   Feb 28, 2009

Pain,
reminds me of what you have done to me,
Tears,
Fall when i remember what we use to be.

Memories,
Hurt so much,
Scars,
make me remember when i lost your clutch.

Words,
Are only a substitute for the tears that already fall.
Smiles,
Make people think I'm not hurting at all.

Im Fine,
Is just a lie everyone seems to believe.
Cuts,
Are the things im hiding under my sleeve.

Help,
Is something i really don't need,
Love is worth the pain,
Well thats when i disagreed.

Love should be painless,
Friendships should be too.
Nothing should cause someone,
To do things they never wanted to do.

It may sound pathetic,
And i may be confused.
But its the honest truth,
And i feel a little used.

Lies,
May be for the best,
The truth,
Is so you understand the rest.

Blood,For what I'm losing,
Tears,For how much it hurts.
Pain, for the decisions I'm choosing,
Blade, something i keep re-using.

Frown, for when i am feeling down,
A smile will appear when I'm gone,
All you need to know,
Is You wont have to wait that long.

This is the best poem you have ever written in my opinion. Even though it is really sad, you put it together well and it made for an interesting read. Really well done.
You are growing as a poet, even if what you write is depressing, you still write it very well.
    Keep up the great work.

I dont know if this is how you feel, i know the majority of the people on here write poems about others and such, but if it means anything, i know exactly what you are going through, i have some scars that im not proud of. Serious ones. Stitches and such, and they were over men that treated me bad, for the most part, but if i could just say, men aren't worth hurting over, if they hurt you. i wish i could say that you learn from your mistakes. And i hope that one day you find peace with yourself, not to sound to hippyish. :D
Take care lady! And remember, Keep smiling!!!
Beautiful poem, written from the heart!
