Crumpled

People giving up all around you, the world feeling so alone
Praying and hoping your hearts not the next to go
To late now , isn't it so ironic, everything life has become
Failing miserably at everything you've ever done

Trying to care, trying to show the world just who you are
Leaving only an impact across your pale white arm
Thats what happens when you care to much and hate to few
Breaking under it all, as you realize they'll never accept you

Remembering when you where last happy, your mind to demolished to think that far back
Pulling out your hair, picturing a white room with a little bed, holding you down a single strap
Chewing on a pencil, just to hold in your screams
Thinking what has happened to me

Tears of red falling around you, blinking as the blood keeps flowing
Allowing yourself to "accidentally" think of the one you should be loving
Pain shoots through your arteries pumping your blood to fast
Memories pass behind your eyes of your unforgivable past

And no one will ever know just how you feel and even if they did they'd never care
They'll never notice the quite girl in the back twisting her auburn hair
Writing messages to stay alive because you just can't take the pain anymore
Crumpled like the piece of paper you just threw on the floor

I think I'm to far gone to change who I think I am
I'm tired of pretending to understand,
Laughing as you remember what you spoke you where so naive..
Look at who you are, who you where meant to always be

All of the shirts in your closet have light brown stains on the sleeves
Being a painful reminder of "Who" you used to be
Taking everything out on no one but yourself
Trying to subside some fake longing in your chest

Finally taking a sigh of relief, your heart beats
No longer trying to retreat
Your words fill pages all over the world of a pain you didn't believe you could take anymore
A crumpled piece of paper covered in words hanging up on the wall, looking better there then it did in the floor
