What I'll Be

Your strength when you are weak.
That's what I'll always be.
Your open space,
when you need to fly free.

Your confidence,
when you are unsure.
Your treatment
when you need a cure.

Your shoulder to cry on,
with heartbreaking tears.
Your courage,
when your filled with fears.

Your protector,
when you are under attack.
Your front, your side,
and your back.

Your voice,
when you cant sing your heartsong.
Your defender
whether right or wrong.

Your friend,
when you feel all alone.
Your shelter, your rock,
your home.

I choose you--
over any other.
Because what I'll always be,
is your mother....
