Dance

by ASPHYXIATED   Mar 26, 2009

Clouded vision, stumbled steps,
Bloodshot eyes, hidden regrets,
You've come too far, its time to crash,
Find the ground with a bangbangsmash.
Frozen fingers now losing grip,
C'mon sweetheart you're due your slip,
Give up, give in, get back on track,
Toward all progress just turn your back.
{Shhhhh..}

A triple heart beat when he walks by,
Such a low low morphed into a high,
A smile on your face, new hope in your heart,
The strength and belief to go back to the start.
Like a child on a bike you learn to digest,
You take each chance, you pass each test,
Deep breath, Deep breath, take it all in,
Now out of your bubble; Where to begin?
{Scream..}

Its mind against heart babe,
Comfort zone against chance,
The battle you fight each night,
The good versus evil dance.
{And forever they dance.}

    Hmmm, I did not really understand what you are trying to say.. Is it a story about love or is it about dancing? But even though I didn't understand the meaning there is something in this poem that touched my heart, maybe it's the fact that I love dancing so much :) So I'm gonna leave the poem open for interpretation and mine is two strangers meeting to dance, falling for eachoter and do not know if it's right oe wrong! 5/5

    Sounds like a wild party to me, and two strangers meet to dance the dance, like a tango, but with more passion, but not knowing how to do it, but pull it off. I really liked this poem. a 5/5 poem indeed.
