Lied to Again

She looked at me with her brown eyes
In her is where my love lies
She told me that she loved me
I then thought "will see"

She then told me the next day that she did.
But in her emotions something she hid.
She said not to think about it too much
And that left me very numb to the touch

She had just been playing with my emotions again
Guess that is her natural trend
But I still wonder why
We couldn't just give it a try

I am swept into loneliness and pain
My emotions now driven to become insane
Trapped in this disillusion
Of me and her together again/what an illusion

I still to this very day
Remember the words that she said
And I still can't get over all the lies
That come as time flies.

So once more I have been lied to
This was sure to come /I should of knew
But my emotions tried to defend
The fact of being lied to again.
