Free falling

by kevin Boundy AKA the ghost   Mar 29, 2009

I stand here at the highest point
Of this death camp known as earth
Its amazing how so much pain
Seems like my only left rebirth

I look over this shadowed wasteland
And see a blinding light
And for some reason I know
It is better then my last attempt to fight

Its been so long since I've felt light
Creep into my broken mind
You seem like all I ever need
In this world thats so unkind

I look back down below me
To what would've been my last destination
Then I look back at you and
I feel a sudden numbing sensation

So numbing I feel dizzy
My legs get so weak
And just before I fall you catch me
And kiss me on the cheek

I kiss you and the world
Seems so bright beneath my feet
You fall into my arms and I melt in your eyes
Now i feel so complete

I can't ever remember why I was here
But I know one thing to be true
The only falling I plan on doing
Is free falling over you
