Rambling

by BlueEyedMystery   Apr 15, 2009

The erasers on my desk,
keep staring me down hard,
and I really want to give in,
but my body is just too scarred.

The ice it burns so good,
and the world around me blurs.
Try to think, but it's just too hard,
get stuck on all of the words.

I'll smile as pretty as the stars,
and make a wish on the moon.
Stay awake until sunrise,
then I'll dream until it's noon.

These words spin in my head,
and they're starting to make it hurt.
I'm getting a little dizzy, dear,
and tears are staining my shirt.

But I just keep on rambling,
with words that don't make sense.
The keys keep on clicking,
and my muscles stay tense.

I'll just go ahead and end it now,
because no one will get it anyway.
So goodbye, my lovely readers.
I hope you have a perfect day.
