Fairy Tale Words

by BlueEyedMystery   Apr 17, 2009

Cinderella tears,
and fairy tale words.
Princess's sin,
haven't you heard?

Lock her in the tower.
She doesn't make a sound.
Oh, dear reader,
take a look around.

The bird's have no song.
Crickets don't chirp,
and wishing stars,
only make things worse.

Sleeping beauty,
never to awake.
And this hole in her chest,
will always ache.

So go on, take the apple.
Bite into it deep.
Lay back on your bed,
and fall into eternal sleep.

Its a very sad poem but as i said in the last poem adding fairy tales to the poetry always seem to make it more lively and imaginative.
teh ending was despairing.. but in a good way don't worry it really worked.

again impressed with the flow and the fact it didn't break. very good
