Her Face

by Jad   May 7, 2009

I try not to care
But this burden I bear
Because in her face
Is where my love wastes

I look at her everyday
Talking to her/nothing left to say
Wanting to tell her how I feel
But to her it wouldn't be real

She has me trapped
All my emotions overlap
This feeling of wanting to be with her
Is a deathly sickness not a cure

Even if I wanted to
I already know the truth
That she doesn't care
And it makes my feelings tare

She'll always have me
Have me on my knee
And though she denies me
I don't care for I'm blind/ I can't see

Her game is the same
Making me steadily lame
Now I'm in my room in a curl
For she is my entire world.

Your poem was expressive and full of life's frustration and by the words one of life's b--l breakers(unrequited love). You certainly got your message over to me as in my lifetime I too have been there on a few occasions and felt sympathy for you, All the ingredients for a great poem. You must read it and edit it the mistakes I came across seem obvious so see if you can correct them if you do need help let me know. Ray S 4/5
