A day in the life of... ©

by Georgi   Jun 13, 2004

I wake up each day, a false smile on my face.
I look around 4 u, but there isn?t a trace.
I see you there, holding out your hand,
I realize it?s fake, just like you planned.

Go to school each day; see the girls in my year,
No one knows how hard it is, being here.
I smile at them, they don?t have a clue,
If only I could tell them, if only they knew.

Going to lunch, I?m reminded of the fate,
Of a few months back, when nothing I ate.
I did it for you, and still you weren?t there,
I starved for you, and you still didn?t care.

Going home every day, looking around,
Mum?s always there, your nowhere to be found.
Looking out the window, wondering where you are,
Remembering words you used to say, ?you?re my little star?

Sitting on my bed, looking in the mirror,
Crying to myself, wishing you were nearer.
I wipe the blood from my arms, a tear stained face,
You still can?t hear me, I can?t stand this place.

This hurt is down to you, look what you?ve done
You?ve taken out my life, all the happiness and fun.
Every time I saw you, standing by my side,
I no it isn?t you, but I have lay down and cried.

I wake up each day, a false smile on my face,
I look around for you, but there isn?t a trace.
I see you there, holding out your hand,
Then I realize it?s fake, just like you planned.

Well regardless of any arguments we may have in the forums, I just read some of your poems, and I think they are pretty damn good. They have a nice flow to them, and they seem very heartfelt. Excellent work, keep it up.

    Hey

Nice poem, it had alot of emotion in it, thats what made it what it was. Don't focus on rhyming so much, your poems would flow so much better, i hope everything works out for you. Keep writing cause i'll keep reading.
    Luv,
