When I look at you
I cant help but smile
And the words just seem to slip away

And even as I sit here,
Your face a lovely picture
To hold. My words
Seem to leave me once more.

Pen to paper,
My mind an endless fog.
Heart on my sleeve,
And still I cant express
What I need.

Vaguely scribbling
Countless pictures
In the form of my
Minds deadliest flaw.

And in my own mind
With the voices of my fears,
You deserve so much
Better then me.

Yet my biggest hope
Is that youll stay.
And never regret
Not getting away.
