Journey Of The Light~Musette

by Poet on the Piano   May 31, 2009

Warm sun,
Wakes from slumber,
To run.

Keeping,
Time with the day,
Leaping.

Stopping,
Its work over,
Dropping.

----------------------------------------------------

The Musette consists of three verses of three lines each. The first lines have two syllables; the second lines have four syllables, and the third lines have two syllables. The rhyme scheme is a/b/a for the first verse; c/d/c for the second verse, and e/f/e for the third verse. The title should reflect the poem's content.

A Musette about nature...I like that MaryAnne!

I like how you personified the sun and brought the image to life:)

    Stopping,
    Its work over,
    Dropping.

    ^^

I must say I am glad he takes a pause, because in some parts of the world, he doesn't ( e.g. Scandinavia) and I would find it very hard to sleep when it's light both day and night, don't you?

    Good job!

    *hugs*
